Artist's Description
The Salton Sea sits on top of the San Andreas Fault and many other fault lines. Thus there natural hot springs and geo thermal resources surrounding the entire inland sea. This particular image was shot through the water and it a close up, less than a meter, of the mineralization/oxidation that occurs from the hot springs run off. There is NO digital manipulation in this image AT ALL, just a simple raw conversion.
