Description
I love sunflowers, always have since I was a kid. I used to grow them in our garden every year since about 2nd grade when we took home a sunflower project. Now living in Southern California I get to see them almost every week when I get my wife her weekly desk flowers. Fortunately she likes sunflowers as much as I do. I love their patterns, color, stature, seemingly impossible ability to stand up, to see fields of them and to much on their seeds, which I personally eat whole.
This was a series I decided to shoot in studio with very simple light and background specifically to bring out the colors and patterns. I found this sunflower at a local shop an couldn't put it down.

I love the name you gave this capture. The clarity of the patterns make them easy to follow. V

Thanks Valerie. It's interesting I took this one years ago for a competition called Fibonacci Patterns
