This 360 degree panorama was shot at Mission Beach and Belmont Park. I used a Sigma 15 mm fisheye for each peice. There are 12 image in total to make this 360 degrees . I love the low light and twighlight at amusement parks, just after the sun sets, all of rides light up and there's still enough light to catch some contrasting ambient light.
R. Scott Campbell - “I am a child of God with a camera.” My goal and passion is to capture and create imagery that shows a tiny fraction of the beauty of God’s Creation. I do believe that everything (entire universes as Stephen Hawking describes) was created and is still being created, and will continue to be created by God long after we have gone back to be with our creator. When I remember that everything I see is part of God’s creation, I see beauty in everything and thus I am motivated and inspired. Fine art photography has been a passion since 1984. From 2003 – 2016 I was in business as a commercial photographer. Now I am a busy & successful fine artist. I have been blessed to be a galleried, juried,...

Best photographic image I have seen in quite awhile. I love the curvature and I love that the carasel is included. I don't think I know how to spell carasel! Anyway, I absolutely love this. I wish there was more than a favorite button here. It's on my "to buy" so maybe fineartamerica.com should include a wishlist for purchases for an image that resonates so much with your work! Good day, my friend.

Thanks again for the comment. This might be my favorite of mine piece right now. I worked so hard on this one. I think I spent 80 hours just trying to get the pano to line up. In the end, I'll admit, I had to do some "puppet warp" in Photoshop to get a few lines in the merry-go-round to line up. To shoot this one I had them clear the merry-go-round, which they actually did for me, and then between rides my back is actually to the merry-go-round, I used a fisheye, hand held and took about 20 frames in 360 degrees. The cement rail is actually right in front of me.
