Description
While traveling from Palm Springs to Seattle up the 101 freeway in August 2008 someone told us that Cannon Beach Oregon was going to experience historic low tides while we were there. Out came the trusty tripod, Canon 1dsmk2 and my 24-70 lens. I went for slightly longer exposures to try and get a more painterly feel. The dusk was partly cloudy and the sunrise was partly cloudly, still beautiful. What I thought was wonderful were all the starfish that appeared at near eye level. That was a super low tide.
