I took these haunting shots at Lake Pleasant AZ on a warm, calm March day. The lens I used is the 17mm TSE so I'm actually about 1 foot from this tree. While the water was calm in this little cove, the lake was full of jet skis and boaters. On the bank beside me were a bunch of partying teenagers shouting at me to take their pictures too.

I'm always fascinated by older dead trees in fairly deep water where there's no way they could have grown. That means there’s an interesting story regarding the body of water's history. The lake was very low at this time of year and dew to the 2014 drought.
