Artist's Description

This is a painterly treatment of an image of Cathedral Rocks near Sedona Arizona. I shot these two views of Cathedral Rocks on a Thanksgiving trip to Sedona AZ. These are actually two separate images, not a crop of the more wide angle image. There were other photographers here, but not one got close to the ground to see what might be brought into the foreground of the image. I shot these about a foot off the ground. This is a single exposure photograph of Cathedral Rock in Sedona AZ, USA taken at sunset, close to the ground, on tripod with a Canon 5dMK3 and 24-70 lens.

From 2003 – 2016 I was in business as a commercial photographer. Now I am a busy & successful fine artist. I have been blessed to be a galleried, juried,...
