Artist's Description

Strangely the fire department is for this area is only a few blocks away. Yet right in this location there are at least 4 burnt to the ground abandoned structures. I'm thinking that the properties were abandoned and bank owned or even state owned. I came across this one while shooting a few graffiti pieces. The couch was just sitting there, ripped up but not burnt up. Did someone put it there later, did someone try to save the couch from the burning house? I have no idea. The contrast was interesting to me.
