Warning - Never, EVER hug a Cholla. I fell backwards onto one during this shoot and it was the most pain I have ever experienced and I've passed both kidney and gall stones.... ouch! This series of images are all from one trip to Joshua Tree National Park. I had purchased the new to the market Kodack Full Frame DLSR and a Sigma 15mm Fisheye. I decided to only go out with the fisheye attached so that it would force me to be creative within boundaries and limitations. Sometimes I use this technique to challenge myself and I have always loved the results. This trip was no exception.
Since then I have taken many trips to Joshua Tree and have some amazing work to post. Keep and eye on this gallery for more Joshua Tree photography
